Travel industry insiders know that pre-trip research -- and even trip booking -- is increasingly being performed via mobile apps. Any serious travel writer or blogger needs to be looking at these travel apps as a potential outlet for publication and brand building.
I joined TravelGap in order to get more exposure to my site www.nomad.guru! It hasn't been around for that much but I am working hard on it and 2017 will be THE year. I have 10 featured Travel Bloggers who will start providing monthly content as from January, that together with my own posts about my travels will help to increase the amount of quality content in the forthcoming year!
As soon as I clicked onto the website and read through the features, it was clear to me that this is going to be the next big innovative idea for travellers. There's a gap in the market for this and I wanted to be a part of it and watch it develop.
I really liked the simplicity of the site and the answer to some of my problems organizing tips and ideas. I loved the idea of saving up tips and places to go. For later use.
I have spent the last 4 years traveling internationally, and have personally benefitted so much from exchanging tips with other travelers. I hope that a TravelGap account will allow me to continue teaching and learning with fellow nomads!
TravelGap provides a more structured platform for my followers to save and use my travel tips, allowing the access to a larger group of travelers / potencial readers and increasing the visibility of my work. And, in the process, I'll get the opportunity to earn some money. Hope a lot of users are using TravelGap.
I consult a lot of travel blogs before every trip so it would be cool to have an app that consolidates all that information into one place. I'm optimistic TravelGap can do just that. It would make travel planning so much easier.
